FAQ

  • How do I book a counselling session?

You can schedule sessions online via our Jane App, at the end of your session, or by emailing our front desk at hello@connect-therapy.ca. We offer appointments weekdays, starting at 8am, with the last session at 7pm (Yukon Time). Availability and schedule vary by counsellor, so feel free to check the Jane schedule or email hello@connect-therapy.ca

  • What are your session fees and how do I pay?

Session rates vary by therapist ($170–$200/hour). We accept credit cards, e-transfers, cash, and direct bill many insurance providers. Payment is due at the end of each session, with auto-pay available through our secure system.

  • Can I use my insurance or Employee Assistance Program (EAP)? I get reimbursed for counselling through my extended health care plan/private health insurance?

Many insurance plans cover our counsellors (all CCC certified). We offer direct billing where possible, and some counsellors are providers for Yukon Government's LifeWorks EAFP. Coverage depends on your plan—please check with your insurer or HR department.

  • Is funding available through Indigenous Services Canada or NIHB?

Yes. We’re registered providers for NIHB and programs for Residential School Survivors and MMIWG2S. Let us know if this applies to you and we can apply on your behalf.

  • Do you offer virtual sessions, and can I access services if I live outside Yukon?

Absolutely. We offer secure online or phone counselling throughout Canada. Home with a sick little one? We can pivot to an online session at the drop of a hat.

  • What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

Please provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be charged 50%, and missed appointments are billed at the full rate. We’re happy to work within your availability—just let us know your needs.
